When Ape Web first came on the scene, the face of the Internet was experiencing a massive change. Everybody wanted a piece of the action and only the best would survive. So what started out as a project in school, grew to what is now one of the biggest web design agencies in the North East of England.

The Ape Web Company

Ape Web is a web design company that designs, develops and markets a wide range of websites for businesses. Ape Web's headquarter is situated in Hartlepool, Teesside, and has offices in Thornaby and Newcastle.

Ape Web is focused on delivering high quality online information and marketing solutions. Consisting of a team of designers, developers and journalists, Ape Web now employs over 10 members of staff making it one of the biggest web design agencies in the North East. Ape Web designs and develops websites in HTML, XHTML, CSS and a wide range of other languages such as PHP, ASP and ASP.NET.

Originally founded to improve the standard of websites, Ape Web rose to dominate the property market and has subsequently worked with Rightmove, Property Abroad and many other property portals. With assets such as the Ape Web Framework, there are many markets Ape Web has a foothold in.

Ape Web's milestones

Throughout time, Ape Web has made some remarkable achievements:

  1. August 2003 - 1derweb provided voluntary work for charities and local organisations
  2. March 2007 - 1derweb rebranded as Ape Web and set out a strategy to expand
  3. October 2008 - Ape Web incorporated as a registered public limited company
  4. February 2011 - Ape Web now have offices in Teesside, Cambridge and London
